Sequel women's care products inject vitality into the market

In recent years, some start-up brands in the global market that focus on sustainability, higher performance, and better cost-effectiveness have entered the market for absorbent hygiene products, injecting new vitality into the market. These brands have brought new changes to products such as baby diapers, women's care products, wet wipes, and adult incontinence products, and have also posed challenges to traditional large hygiene product enterprises, inspiring traditional well-known brands to continue developing new products and expanding new marketing methods.

Sequel is a startup company focused on women's health, founded by two athletes and engineers from Stanford University. It develops and produces leak proof sanitary tampons, with a proprietary spiral design that has higher fluid mechanical efficiency, allowing the tampons to absorb fluids more evenly and not leak before saturation. Sequel has two authorized patents and three pending patents, and its product design aims to achieve optimal absorption and leak proof performance, allowing consumers to use it in various scenarios such as conference rooms and sports fields.

Sequel was founded by Meyer and Calabrese in 2018, both of whom are students and elite athletes majoring in Product Design Engineering at Stanford University. Throughout their athletic careers, Meyer and Calabrese have always had to address menstrual care issues in high-level sports competitions, and they know it's many women’ concern. The two of them scrutinized menstrual products with a critical eye and realized that none of the products on the shelves could meet their needs. Therefore, they saw an opportunity to produce sanitary tampons with better performance.
